Welcome to the start of Volume 2 of Cosmic Dash. This epic storyline is titled “The Cube” and comprises a two-part story. This comic features the full introduction of the space pirates led by Vid Seng and introduces a key character in Drakar Vadis.
“The Cube” was my first attempt at a multi-issue story arc, and I am happy with the result. I did go ahead when it was complete and add eight additional pages to round out story elements and check in with some characters who were not initially in the story. I think the overall inserts were a smart idea. See if you can figure out where they are.
“The Cube” Updates
As of August 30th, 2022, I am going through the pages and remastering them for printing into a collection, so I am updating spelling and grammar as I go through. I will also be adding commentary to pages from here on out, in addition to transcripts like those seen in more recent pages of the series. This is to help bring the site in line with features over at Silver Spiral Stories.
That also includes adding the series watermark atop each page. I had started doing that on the archive back in volume 1 but stopped when I hit volume 2 as I grew busy with… other things.
Cosmic Dash: Vol. 2 – “The Cube” Cover Transcript
There is no real transcript for the cover of “The Cube,” but I do have a complete list of characters who appear on this cover image.
Scroll to the bottom of this post, and you’ll see the tags of the characters. You should be able to view all tagged instances of a character across the site. Similar tags exist over at Serreven.com but are specific to that website.
